Arsenal Line Up V Newcastle - 1 Thing To Learn

Firstly, Here Is The Arsenal Line Up v Newcastle(Away)

Cech

Bellerin-Mustafi-Sokratis-Monreal

Xhaka-Guendouzi

Ramsey-Ozil-Aubameyang

Lacazette

What is the one thing we learn?

With Arsenal starting the season so poorly, Emery is clearly attempting to build upon the momentum that the last couple of bames have bought. To that end, he has left the team unchanged in order to continue this momentum, nowever, if Arsenal start poorly, expect the line up to change pretty quickly!

Saturday's EPL Action!

What happened in the EPL? What a cracking night for football in the EPL! First of all, Liverpool were, I guess, one of the more predictable wins. Even being away at Leicester was not enough to cause an upset. What is even more surprising is that after Karius went sent away for his errors, the world's most expensive goalkeeper, Alisson, seemed to want to fill in by making an absolute howler, and gifting Leicester a goal.
Manchester City also scored a predictable victory over Newcastle with a 2-1 victory! Despite City absolutely dominating possession, Newcastle, at one point, drew level until Kyle Walker rifled home a long range effort to secure the points(predictably).
In other top flight action, Chelsea disposed of Bournemouth. Pedro and Hazard left it late to secure the 3 points for Sarri.  Although Chelsea are doing everything that is asked for them, 4 games in, there does appear to be a very real possibility of a melt down at some point, mostly due to the way that Sarri is st…

FK Qarabag 0 - Arsenal 3

Arsenal top group after away victory
FK Qarabag 0 - Arsenal 3: Arsenal went top of their Europa league table after an away victory against opposition that was much vaunted, but delivered little. Basically, Arsenal fielded their 2nd XI, however, despite the commentators enthusiastically spouting that Qarabag don't concede many goals, Sokratis ignored that and put the Gunners ahead in the 4th minute. Now, it would be fair to say that Arsenal's defence still looks a little shaky, however, new signing Bernd Leno was more than up to the task, in stopping a number of spirited efforts.  Arsenal's lead was doubled in the 53rd minute when 18 year old Smith-Rowe slotted home for his first Arsenal goal, and, apparently the youngest Arsenal player to score his first since a certain Oxlade-Chamberlain did the same. Smith-Rowe better keep up his fine form, what with his comparison to the Ox, and some other comparisons to Kevin De Bruyne by certain sections of the media. So, it that was…

North London Review - Games To Both Arsenal and Spurs

Fulham 1 - Arsenal 5
Well...who would have thought it at half time, the score being 1-1? Fulham v Arsenal was, frankly, the battle of two teams with good players. Let's not take away from Fulham that they have Seri and Mitrovic, along with a host of other good players including Schurrle. And, at times, tactically, the teams looked well matched. Despite a regular goal from Lacazette, the score was 1-1, with Arsenal edging the first half. However, another goal from Laca, 2 from Aubameyang, and an excellent 'team goal' from Ramsey made the game look completely one-sided. Therein lies the key so far. Emery must say something that changes the Arsenal team at half time. Every time the Gunners take the field in the 2nd half, there is a massive step up in intensity. The defensive frailties are still there, despite the dropping of Sokratis to the bench, however, Emery never promised a sound defensive style. No, he promised 4-3 victories as opposed to 1-0. The goal from Ramsey, in …
