Verizon has announced that the FiOS TV has been certified by the independent Fiber to the Home Council for providing fiber all the way to customers’ homes and businesses. Now, Verizon FiOS TV with its fiber-optic network is delivering for more than 22,500 additional consumers and small businesses in parts of northeastern Baltimore County. This service is available in parts of Carney, Cub Hill, Fullerton, Overlea, Parkville, Perry Hall, Rosedale and Towson. More than 700,000 other homes and businesses from Baltimore County are also able to choose FiOS TV and FiOS Internet service in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties.
“Maryland consumers and businesses are enthusiastically responding to the quality and value of FiOS Internet and FiOS TV, and Verizon is eager to bring these services to 22,500 more Baltimore Countians,” said William R. Roberts, Verizon’s regional president for Maryland and Washington, D.C. “Our all-fiber network allows us to offer customers the crystal-clear picture quality and unmatched Internet speeds that blow cable away.
