Verizon’s FiOS TV Delivers 100 High-Definition Channels To New Jersey Subscribers
Verizon Communications, headquartered in New York has announced on Tuesday Aug. 12 that it’s now offering 100 high-definition television channels to subscribers in North Jersey. Verizon is now offering consumers more HD than Comcast or Cablevision in this area. These new 100 channel line-up in offered in northern New Jersey and subscribers in southern New Jersey will receive these new HD channels very soon.
Verizon’s subscribers in Northern New Jersey now have more than 500 HD choices available at any time as they have 400 HD VOD titles offered each month and also 100 high-definition channels. Verizon also plans to offer more than 1,000 HD VOD titles in this area by year-end. Apart from these HD offerings Verizon has launched seven standard definition channels. The new SD channels available are RFD TV, Reelz, Current TV, Veria TV and WAPA TV.
