Verizon Communications has announced that they are to provide FiOS TV and FiOS Internet services to residents of Parkchester Housing Complex in the Bronx. Verizon has signed an agreement to serve its services 12,271 apartments in 171 buildings and the residents will be served with FiOS TV’s 100 high-definition channels and internet service with broadband speeds of up to 50 Mbps.
Verizon keeps expanding its services in many region and also its programming line-up and in the New York City metro market the Teco offers 500 total channels, including more than 100 HD channels, 11,000 video-on-demand (VOD) titles per month and also 1,000 HD VOD titles every month.
Verizon serves broadband internet services at up to 50 Mbps with the help of the nation’s most advanced digital, all-fiber-optic network.
