Verizon Communications has announced that FiOS TV’s regional network Verizon FiOS1 and the Star-Ledger have started co-producing high school football games of North Jersey on Friday Sept. 11. Verizon FiOS1 will broadcast Mendham versus West Morris, will be broadcast live at 7:30 p.m.
Verizon has launched FiOS1 New Jersey on the Verizon FiOS TV network in June to deliver viewers new options for hyper-local content including news, sports, traffic and weather, and other exciting programming.
FiOS1 and the Star Ledger will co-produce the “Turkey Day Classic” between Montclair and Bloomfield high schools, which will be broadcast live on Thanksgiving Day at 10:30 a.m., and four New Jersey state high school football games, which will be broadcast on Dec. 3 and 4. Also, FiOS1 will air four more state championship games live from Giants Stadium on Dec. 6. There will be tape-delayed broadcasts of other games.

FiOS1 New Jersey will offer viewers a new opportunity to see a variety of high school and collegiate sports including football, soccer and so much more.”
