Verizon FiOS TV Launches 14 New Multicultural Channels From World TV

Verizon FiOS TV has announced that they have started added 14 new multicultural channels from World TV in FiOS TV programming lineup. Verizon has already signed an agreement with GlobeCast’s World TV to launch these 14 new channels. The new channels that are added

These 14 new channels are already added into the programming line-up in New York, northern New Jersey, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Apart from Spanish-language package called La Conexion, Verizon FiOS TV already have extensive lineup of multicultural content which includes premium international channels from Poland, China, Japan and India. La Conexion, offers more than 25 channels in Spanish language. Verizon FiOS TV also has diverse language programming Chinese, Korean, Farsi, French, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Tagalog and Vietnamese.

“This new programming from around the world is part of what makes FiOS TV the ultimate home-entertainment experience,” said Terry Denson, vice president — FiOS TV content and programming. “It also helps to expand our multicultural channel lineup, making FiOS TV an outlet for emerging and independent networks to showcase their diverse content.”
