Time Warner Cable to add Six New HD channels in Hudson Valley region of NY

After Time Warner Cable added new High-Definition channels in New Jersey and New York area earlier this month, the cable operator is planning to add six new HD channels in Middletown, Newburgh, Kingston and Poughkeepsie areas. This new channels addition is to
compete with the DirecTV’s aggressive high-definition expansion. Time Warner also adding HD channels in many local markets. The Cable operator plans to offer 100 new HD channels in New York area by the year end. The new channels that Time Warner Cable will add from 30th April

Food Network HD

Fox Business News HD

Hallmark Movie Channel HD

HGTV HD

Travel Channel HD and

Versus / Golf HD

“By increasing our HD channel offerings, Time Warner Cable ensures customers can get the most out of their HDTVs and watch what they want, when they want, in HD,” said Marc Farrar, a spokesman for Time Warner.
