Time Warner Cable Southwest Ohio To Add Five SD Channels And Drop Seven PBS Stations

Time Warner Cable Southwest Ohio has added five new standard definition channels and dropped seven of the 16 public television stations (PBS). Following are the new SD channels that has  been  included:
Daystar

Inspiration Network

Sundance

TBN and

Word

Time Warner is planning to drop following PBS stations and the reason behind removal is to reduce programming duplications and to streamline service.
WCET Create

WCET HD

WOSU

WPTO Digital

WPTO Learn

WPTO Prime and

WPTO World

All these changes will effect from Aug.25 and Time Warner Cable Southwest Ohio will have nine public television stations, three on basic cable, two for HD users and four for digital cable subscribers.
