Time Warner Cable has launched Mun2 to Los Angeles subscribers. mun2, owned by NBC Universal is a national Cable TV station aimed at young Latinos in the United States. Time Warner has added the channel on its variety tier and will be available to 2 million households in Los Angeles.
Mun2 senior vice president and general manager Alex Pels in a statement said “We’re excited to announce our much-awaited distribution increase in LA, Los Angeles is the largest Latino market in the nation which is why we decided to relocate and relaunch the network in LA back in 2005, so having a strong presence in this marketplace is key for the evolution of our network and brand.”
