Move Networks has announced that it has appointed Steven Cox as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Affairs. Cox will be reporting to CEO and President Roxanne Austin.
Steven Cox served as corporate counsel for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) from July 1992 to January 1995. Then joined DirecTV as Vice President of Business Affairs and General Counsel and has more than ten years of executive management experience with DirecTV. Before joining Move Networks, Cox served as Executive Vice President and Director of HD Partners Acquisition Corporation.
Cox will focus on the development and execution of Move’s strategic plan, including developing new initiatives to monetize Move’s end-to-end video delivery capability, supporting the negotiation of key customer agreements and securing content distribution rights for the Move platform.
