KOMU-TV delivers Local news, Weather and Sports in HD To Mid-Missouri

The NBC affiliate KOMU-TV (Channel 8) serving the cities of Columbia and Jefferson City, Missouri along with several surrounding counties in central Missouri has announced that they have started broadcasting local news, weather and sports in high definition. KOMU 8 will be the first and only Mid-Missouri television station to broadcast in HD. The NBC affiliate is also launching Live Doppler 8 First Alert Weather, mid-Missouri’s first LIVE high definition radar and also KOMU 8 News Today will now be the first local news of the day, beginning at 4:30 a.m.
