GolTV has announced that it has acquired exclusive North American TV rights to broadcast the 2009 Peace Cup Andalucia in Spain. GolTV to present the coverage from July 24 to Aug. 2 and will feature 12 high-profile international club teams, including Spain’s La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid, Italy’s most successful team in history, Juventus FC, and Mexico’s Atlante FC, the current CONCACAF Champions League titleholder.
The 2007 Peace Cup was won by France’s Olympique Lyonnais and will return to defend the title this year. The Peace Cup played once in two year will see following teams in the fray for the title:
Ecuador’s LDU Quito
England’s Aston Vila
Korea’s Seognam
Portugal’s FC Porto
Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad
Spain’s Sevilla and Malaga
Turkey’s Besiktas JK
