Fuse To Launch HD VOD Channel in July On Comcast

Fuse, music video-oriented television channel is planning to launch a high definition video-on-demand channel in July. Cablevision owned Fuse programming will launch the high-definition channel with original series, interviews and music videos and will reach 7 million digital cable customers on launch as Comcast is the first provider signing up for the service. Apart from interviews and music videos the programming will include events and concerts from Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon, The Chicago Theatre and the WaMu Theatre.

Diana Kerekes, Comcast’s vice president of video content said “Comcast is pleased to offer Fuse’s HD VOD programming to our customers, Fuse’s high-definition content is a welcome addition to the growing number of high-definition choices that our customers can enjoy on Comcast On Demand.”
