by admin on May 28, 2008

The Doctor’s Channel a website that allows doctors to learn from each other has launched more than 100 new videos on May 27 from doctors at three of America’s top hospitals  Seattle Children’s Hospital, Swedish Medical Center and The Medical University of South Carolina.
These videos are on different topics like pediatrics, surgical techniques, and cancer screening and novel treatments for tumors. The Doctor’s Channel launched in August 2007 provides information for doctors and also for the common man who visits the website. The Doctor’s Channel has more than 700 videos from physicians across the country.
“The most effective way busy physicians learn from each other is through quick conversations in which they share their knowledge,” said The Doctor’s Channel President David Best, MD, MBA. “The goal of The Doctor’s Channel is to bring that process online, allowing doctors to watch one-to-two minute videos that are educational, informative and entertaining. We’re pleased that the doctors at Seattle Children’s, Swedish Medical Center and Medical University of South Carolina, have joined physicians from other top universities and medical centers in using our site to spread the word about the great work they’re doing so others can learn from their experiences.”
