DirecTV has launched new Spanish-language service of EWTN Global Catholic Network in Latin America and the Caribbean in its Spanish Language programming Package. Earlier EWTN was available to a smaller percentage of DIRECTV homes equipped with “multi-sat” equipment. Now with this launch, the Spanish language programming will reach more than 17 million DirecTV subscribers and also the network will reach more than 40 countries in North and South America. EWTN will deliver 24 hours programming of live Papal events, Masses, documentaries, dramas and teaching series, plus children’s animation from producers throughout Latin America and the world. EWTN Global Catholic Network is available on DirecTV channel 370. DirecTV provides EWTN’s programming in Venezuela and the rest of Latin America.
