Cox Communications will utilize Qualcomm’s BREW technology to enable aspects of its mobile data experience. Qualcomm is a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies, products and services will host the BREW service for Cox.
Cox’s wireless service subscribers with BREW-enabled handsets will be able to download a wide variety of applications from categories such as games, tools, and lifestyle, location, messaging and ring tones. Cox with this technology will provide their customers with a dynamic mobile application shopping experience.
