Cox To Deliver FX and Speed in HD

Cox Communications has announced that it has reached an agreement with Fox Cable Networks to carry FX and Speed in high-definition. The cable operator will deliver both these channels in HD to 600,000 subscribers. The agreement will also allow Cox to expand FUEL TV to its subscribers in Northern Virginia, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Gainesville and Virginia Beach markets.

Mike Hopkins, president of affiliate sales for Fox Cable Networks said “We are thankful for Cox’s increased commitment to FUEL TV and its dynamic young audience. These new deals for FX HD and SPEED HD keep those networks on a tremendous growth curve.”
