Cox Communications has launched upgrades of the on-screen interface for Cox On DEMAND in Rhode Island and Connecticut. This is free of charge to Digital Cable subscribers providing faster and simpler navigation.
Cox’s new upgrade delivers several enhancements to the usability of the Cox On DEMAND service that includes:
Horizontal scrolling provides quicker navigation through folders
‘Skip’ functions allow the user to skip forward or backward in 15-minute intervals while fast-forwarding or rewinding
Movie previews are available directly from a folder’s main menu
Jump back 10 seconds with the new Instant Replay function
Cox stated that it’s also adding more choices to FreeZone, more HD content, and more Movies On DEMAND.
Doreen Studley, vice president of marketing, Cox Communications New England said, “Cox’s goal is to provide customers with an attractive, fast and intuitive On DEMAND experience. The new features make navigation easy, and Cox has increased the amount of On DEMAND programming available to subscribers.”
