Comcast has signed an agreement with Time Warner’s HBO to deliver 750 hours of movies and original series on Comcast’s On-Demand Online trial. Comcast has already signed with Starz Entertainment to deliver about 300 movies and original shows. Subscribers will be able to view the programming online immediately after they are broadcast Cinemax and HBO.
Comcast’s On-Demand Online will offer Cinemax and HBO initially through Fancast.net and Comcast.net. On-Demand Online trial will include programming from A&E Television Networks, Comcast Networks, Rainbow Media, Scripps Networks, TNT and TBS.

Hung, Entourage

Matt Bond, Comcast’s executive vice president of content acquisition said “HBO is an iconic brand with award winning original programming and exclusive feature films and we are thrilled they are joining us in our mission to make our services available online to our customers.”
Eric Kessler , HBO co-president said “On the heels of the TV Everywhere agreement between Time Warner and Comcast, we’re pleased to be partnering with Comcast to deliver our HBO and Cinemax broadband services on a national level.”
