Charter is scheduled to launch TBS in HD on Oct.14, but launched earlier and delivered opening round playoff game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies in HD. Atlanta based operator has exclusive rights to broadcast the first round of MLB playoffs in standard and high-definition.

Lisa Washa, vice president and general manager for Charter in Wisconsin said “I can’t say enough about our engineering team, who made this happen so quickly, Our Wisconsin-based employees are Brewer fans and were dedicated to making this launch happen prior to the playoffs. It was an amazing amount of work to coordinate and implement the addition of TBS HD ahead of schedule, but so worth it for our customers.”
