Cablevision Adds Eight Networks on Free Video On Demand Lineup

Cablevision Systems Corp. has launched eight new networks on its Video On Demand (VOD) library, which is available free to iO TV subscribers. Cablevision with more than 2.8 million iO TV customers, more than 91 percent of cable customers are iO TV digital cable customers offers free On Demand programming that is accessible at no additional cost for digital customers with a set-top box through the Free On Demand menu on the iO TV user interface. The new networks added are:

A&E

Adult Swim

Boomerang

Cartoon Network

CNN

SyFy (formerly Sci Fi Channel)

The History Channel and

TruTV

Gary Schanman, Cablevision’s senior vice president of video product management said in a statement “Cablevision is pleased to increase the entertainment options available to our customers through the addition of quality On Demand programming from these leading cable networks, customers continue to embrace iO TV’s revolutionary time-shifting capabilities which offers greater control and more choice over their home entertainment experience.”
