The Big Ten Network signed a carriage deal with Cablevision Systems Corporation and the sports network has been added in standard and high-definition in the cable operators programming line-up in the New York City borough of Brooklyn and The Bronx on June 23. Big Ten Network is available on iO TV Sports Pack on channel 413 in standard definition and on channel 720 in high-definition.
The fifth largest cable provider in the USA recently launched 30 HD channels to reach 100 HD channel mark will add the sports network in Westchester County and Connecticut on June 24 and in Long Island and New Jersey on June 25.
Mark Silverman, Big Ten Network president said “We’re thrilled that Cablevision will offer the Big Ten Network to their customers, there are thousands and thousands of Big Ten fans and alumni within Cablevision’s footprint, particularly in the New York metropolitan area, that will now receive unparalleled coverage of Big Ten sports.”
