Australian Wicket keeper announces retirement from Cricket

After breaking the world record for most dismissal in Test Cricket by a Wicket keeper, Adam Gilchrist shocked the Cricket world on Saturday by announcing his retirement from all forms of Cricket. The fourth Test match played between Australia and India will be his last Test appearance and India and Sri Lanka Tournament will be his final one-day international appearance.

One of most destructive wicketkeeper batsmen the Cricket has ever seen made his Test appearance against Pakistan in Brisbane during 1999-2000 had appeared 96 tests and scored more that 5500 runs at an average nearing 48.00 with 17 centuries and holds the record of scoring 100 sixes.
